The Mountain Rose apple tree was first recognized in the late 1950’s in Airlie, Oregon. The Mountain Rose apple trees produce lovely pink flesh apples that are often sweet, crisp texture, rich flavor with a beautiful aroma. The Mountain Rose apple is medium size, elongated with pink blush and yellow skin. Flesh varies from deep red to pink, splashed white. While not as flavorful as Pink Pearl, it is tart and pleasing.
